London Footy Carnival Starts THIS FRIDAY



This Friday night your Principal GB Bulldogs take on the AFL Canada North Stars in their first warm up match for AFL International Cup 2017

Get down to the home of the Wimbledon Hawks – Sir Joesph Hood Memorial Playing Fields (near Motspur Park railway station) to watch some high octane international footy!

This will be the 7th fixture between Canada and Great Britain with the head-to-head tied at 3 wins a piece.

DID YOU KNOW? The first game between the two nations was played in Toronto, Ontario in September 1993 with the home nation running out 19.7.121 to 7.7.49 winners.

This weekend is part of AFL Europe‘s London Footy Carnival which over the three day carnival will see AFL Canada’s development squads, the North Stars & Midnight Suns, taking on the GB Bulldogs, the Welsh Dragons, the Wandsworth Demons in the men’s competition & the GB Swans, Irish Banshees & London All-Stars in the women’s competition.
