Women’s participation in Australian Rules Football is on the up in England and the first English Women’s league ran in London for the 2015 season. The Wandsworth Demons took the inaugural title.

The England Vixens lining up for their Euro Cup Grand Final Vs Ireland (October 2014)

The England Vixens are the England national side and are the reigning European Champions having defeated Denmark in the 2015 Axios Euro Cup final. This was just their second European competition as in 2014 the Vixens made their debut in the Axios Euro cup  in Surrey, finishing in second place behind the Irish Banshees.

The GB Swans are the GB representative team made up of players from the home countries. They will be competing at the European Championships 2016 (London) and the International Cup 2017 (Melbourne).
