North London Lions

The North London Lions were founded in 1990 and are based north of the River Thames. In 2018 the Lions will train at Regents Park for the 21st year in succession, and play home games at Albert Road Rec in Bounds Green for the 12th year running.

The Club has strong ties with regional clubs around the UK, particularly the Birmingham Uni Lions and the Cambridge Lions.  They play an annual ‘Lions’ tournament each year versus other Lions teams around Europe (the NLL won the Lions Cup in 2017, defeating Lyon, Rhineland and Odense).

They currently operate four teams: Men’s Premiership, Men’s Conference (known as the Regents Park Lions), Men’s Social (known as the Bounds Green Lions), and Women’s Premiership.

Team Honours:

Men’s Premiership: 2001, 2002, 2012, 2015

Men’s Conference runners-up: 2012, 2013, 2015
