Wimbledon Hawks

The Wimbledon Hawks started out as the London Hawks back in 1990. They were initially based in the Herne Hill Velodrome, but they now play their home matches at Motspur Park. They have two men’s teams: Men’s Premiership & Men’s Social.

In 2015 the Wimbledon Hawks celebrated their 25th anniversary, and also saw the introduction of a Women’s Premiership side who made it to the inaugural Grand Final, losing out to the Wandsworth Demons. However, one year later the unbeaten Hawkettes went one better, winning the Grand Final.

They qualified for the 2017 AFL Europe Champions League, the first ever version for women’s sides, and the Hawkettes took down the title.
