Central and Northern England is home to the Nottingham Scorpions (pictured), who represented the area at the 2018 Women’s Champions League where they finished fifth. Seven of the Scorpions also played for the Great Britain Swans at last year’s

Playing Australian rules football allows women to use skills from other sports such as football, netball, basketball, rugby and Gaelic football and try a new challenge. The game appeals to women who love team games and physically demanding sports.
